"We'll pay off the debt with the repaid tarp money" now they're putting it in a slush fund or "you won't have to pay one thin dime" say it three times ! "We'll fight the good war" ! So he fires a general then hires his own, says he'll support him and then leaves him dangling in the wind, ignoring his report for 9 months...
He calls the Villain Bankers to his office - first of all, if I were one of them I'd tell that nappy headed little shit to go screw himself, I'm busy !
The only reason he called them to meeting is to coerce them with threats of more regulation and control. Gode them into lending money to a bunch of financially ignorant, unqualified and insolvent people who can't come up with the down payment or as it's called in the realestate world "EARNEST MONEY" with emphasis on the word "EARNEST", you know, skin in the game money!
If I'm not mistaken, and I'm not ! That's the same bad policy move that gave us the "SUBPRIME MOVIE" we're living with now.
He never once mentioned the governments role in it's big hit, Nightmare on Main st. featureing- Barney Frank, Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac. Or that socialist program the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and never will mention it.
I just watched him give another one of his lame I'm you're hero, the Banks are the bad guys and you don't know shit speeches on CNBC!
Just after listening to all the dumb, again, a bunch of sheep trying to sell the rest of the sheep on expensive and inefficient "WIND MILLS and SOLAR PANELS" instead of using the abundant, clean natural gas for damn near everything. Did you know you can change over any existing truck, car or boat for around $2000 - thought not!
