Constitution - Inner struggles

I am having an internal struggle with the concept of "Corporate Personhood" under the Constitutions Bill Of Rights which is definately in the Constitution but as an added amendment later pushed by the mainly Republican "Robber Barons". Although Republicans are sometimes considered conservatives, these days there is definately a difference. As a "Free thinking Independant Conservative", I don't feel an allegiance to the concept although some of my my conservative associates, perhaps unwittingly, are falling in line behind the "corporate Personhood" doctrine that is more Republican than Conservative. And because opposition to the concept is a Democrats talking point against Republicans and "Big Business" running things, the conservative automatically chooses the proponents stance!
I really hate to say this, but the Dems have this one right !

Being an Independent, Tea Party Conservative, with no allegiance to either Republican nor Democratic party and adhering to the principles of the Constitution befor it's dillutions, I don't trust Corporations any more than Government and find it a labor to trust a good portion of my fellow citizens.

"I hope we shall . . . crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and to bid defiance to the laws of our country". - Thomas Jefferson, 1816

from; SUPREME COURT VOTES TO END DEMOCRATIC ELECTIONS

I awakened to discover I am living in a nation under enemy occupation;

Richard Brennerman - I awakened this morning to discover I am living in nation under enemy occupation. It is an alien, inhuman, sovereign power that controls our military, and, increasingly, our schools, prisons, and many of the institutions of governance.
That alien power is the corporation, freshly empowered by today's Supreme Court's decision to remove any spending limits on their ability to influence elections. . .

The stage was set when, just after the Civil War on July 9, 1868, three-quarters of the states ratified the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

The corporate form is, after all, just a legal structure to facilitate the conversion of products or services into cash for stockholders. As Buckminster Fuller wrote in his brilliant essay, "The Grunch of Giants," "Corporations are neither physical nor metaphysical phenomena. They are socio-economic ploys -- legally enacted game-playing -- agreed upon only between overwhelmingly powerful socio-economic individuals and by them imposed upon human society and its all unwitting members."

During this same period, because everybody understood Paine and Jefferson's argument that human-made institutions must be subordinate to humans themselves; virtually every state had laws on the books that regulated the behavior of corporations.

Thus, states made it illegal for corporations to participate in the political process: Politicians were doing the voters' business, and corporations couldn't vote, so it didn't make sense they should be allowed to try to influence votes. States made it illegal for corporations to lie about their products, and required that their books and processes always be open and available to government regulators. States and the federal government claimed the right to inspect companies and investigate them when they caused pollution, harmed workers or created hazards for human communities, even if in the early years that right was unevenly used.

These constraints and oversights had been a thorn in the side of the barons of trade and industry from the earliest days of the new American republic. But what to do about it?
With the passage of the 14th Amendment, the owners of what were then America's largest and most powerful corporations -- the railroads -- figured they'd finally found a way to reverse Paine's logic and no longer have to answer to "we, the people." They would claim that the corporation is a person. They would claim that for legal purposes, the certificate of incorporation declares the legal birth of a new person, who should therefore have the full protections the voters have under the Bill of Rights.

Remember that corporate personhood began as a legal fiction, inserted by a clerk Bancroft Davis [a former railroad president] in the court's 1887 decision in County of Santa Clara v. Southern Pacific Railroad. . .
It was an amazing irony, given that one of Jefferson's original proposed Amendments was an explicit ban on corporations becoming so large as to gain monopoly power and be able to easily crush or stifle small, local entrepreneurs. But, setting the irony aside, the railroads threw massive resources into their new campaign to be given full human rights. Acting on behalf of the railroad barons, attorneys for the railroads repeatedly filed suits against local and state governments that had passed laws regulating railroad corporations. They rebelled against restrictions, and most of all they rebelled against being taxed.
The main tool the railroad's lawyers tried to use was the fact that corporations had historically been referred to under law not as "corporations" but as "artificial persons." Based on this, they argued, corporations should be considered "persons" under the free-the-slaves 14th Amendment and enjoy the protections of the constitution just like living, breathing, human persons.
Using this argument for their base, the railroads repeatedly sued various states, counties and towns claiming that they shouldn't have to pay local taxes because different railroad properties were taxed in different ways in different places and this constituted the creation of different "classes of persons" and was, thus, illegal discrimination under the 14th Amendment.

For almost 20 years, these arguments did not succeed.

Some are saying that by striking down a 103 year-old law that prohibits corporate contributions in federal elections, the court is allowing giant corporations and their massive stores of wealth to purchase elections at all levels of government and that this decision will devastate the integrity and moral legitimacy of our government and our elected officials. It will bring more corruption than our nation has known in more than a century. . .

The descision disallowed direct finacial contributions to a candidates coffers and this still stands. They can use moneys to purchase through advertisements, posters, radio etc under protected speach..

I'm not one of those who are afraid of foreign entities funneling money into our elections, though I'm sure it has, still can and always will, the Supreme Court left the language in that prohibits foreign money.

Starting today, large corporations will influence our country. Their money will dominate our elections and our elected officials, and will purchase more influence than we can imagine. Our nation's giant corporations have used our own Constitution to grab power for themselves much the same way that the "Progressive (liberal) DemoCrats" are undermining the Constitution. We should have no doubt that it's any other way.

Today's decision, along with the multitude Obama and his Progressive DemoCrats have been enacting foretell very dark times for our nation.

Obviously, we must work for constitutional amendments to remove corporate money from politics, and more broadly, to end corporate personhood. These will be exceedingly hard to win. The Constitutionality of many of Obama and the liberal Marxist Congress's laws will never stand. Things like foreign terrorists being given miranda rights, provided Public Attorneys and not having to give valuable info as a result. The people will revolt and, from what I've seen, that's a given.

JUSTICE STEVENS' DISSENT
From the dissent [written by Justice Stevens]:

In the context of election to public office, the distinction between corporate and human speakers is significant. Although they make enormous contributions to our society, corporations are not actually members of it. They cannot vote or run for office. Because they may be managed and controlled by nonresidents, their interests may conflict in fundamental respects with the interests of eligible voters. The financial resources, legal structure, and instrumental orientation of corporations raise legitimate concerns about their role in the electoral process. Our lawmakers have a compelling constitutional basis, if not also a democratic duty, to take measures designed to guard against the potentially deleterious effects of corporate spending in local and national races. . .

The Court's ruling threatens to undermine the integrity of elected institutions across the nation. The path it has taken to reach its outcome will, I fear, do damage to this institution. . .The Court operates with a sledgehammer rather than a scalpel when it strikes down one of Congress' most significant efforts to regulate the role that corporations and unions play in electoral politics. It compounds the offense by implicitly striking down a great many state laws as well

The Framers took it as a given that corporations could be comprehensively regulated in the service of the public welfare. Unlike our colleagues, they had little trouble distinguishing corporations from human beings, and when they constitutionalized the right to free speech in the First Amendment, it was the free speech of individual Americans that they had in mind. While individuals might join together to exercise their speech rights, business corporations, at least, were plainly not seen as facilitating such associational or expressive ends. Even "the notion that business corporations could invoke the First Amendment would probably have been quite a novelty,"given that "at the time, the legitimacy of every corporate activity was thought to rest entirely in a concession of the sovereign."

President Roosevelt, in his 1905 annual message to Congress, declared: "'All contributions by corporations to any political committee or for any political purpose should be forbidden by law; directors should not be permitted to use stockholders' money for such purposes; and, moreover, a prohibition of this kind would be, as far as it went, an effective method of stopping the evils aimed at in corrupt practices acts.'". . . Try rereading that with the word Union in place of corporations as well !

It is an interesting question "who" is even speaking when a business corporation places an advertisement that endorses or attacks a particular candidate. Presumably it is not the customers or employees, who typically have no say in such matters.

It cannot realistically be said to be the shareholders, who tend to be far removed from the day-to-day decisions of the firm and whose political preferences may be opaque to management. Perhaps the officers or directors of the corporation have the best claim to be the ones speaking, except their fiduciary duties generally prohibit them from using corporate funds for personal ends. Some individuals associated with the corporation must make the decision to place the ad, but the idea that these individuals are thereby fostering their self expression or cultivating their critical faculties is fanciful. It is entirely possible that the corporation's electoral message will conflict with their personal convictions. Take away the ability to use general treasury funds for some of those ads, and no one's autonomy, dignity, or political equality has been impinged upon in the least. . .

When citizens turn on their televisions and radios before an election and hear only corporate electioneering, they may lose faith in their capacity, as citizens, to influence public policy. A government captured by corporate interests, they may come to believe, will be neither responsive to their needs nor willing to give their views a fair hearing. The predictable result is cynicism and disenchantment: an increased perception that large spenders "'call the tune'" and a reduced "'willingness of voters to take part in democratic governance . . .'"

The majority's unwillingness to distinguish between corporations and humans similarly blinds it to the possibility that corporations' "war chests" and their special "advantages" in the legal realm. . .may translate into special advantages in the market for legislation. When large numbers of citizens have a common stake in a measure that is under consideration, it may be very difficult for them to coordinate resources on behalf of their position. The corporate form, by contrast, "provides a simple way to channel rents to only those who have paid their dues, as it were.". . .

The Court's blinkered and aphoristic approach to the First Amendment may well promote corporate power at the cost of the individual and collective self-expression the Amendment was meant to serve. It will undoubtedly cripple the ability of ordinary citizens, Congress, and the States to adopt even limited measures to protect against corporate domination of the electoral process. Americans may be forgiven if they do not feel the Court has advanced the cause of self-government today.

Don't be distracted !

Patriots;

There is a lot going on right now to distract us from our destiny as Americans crusading against a most dangerous tyranny. The latest, and in my view, the most dangerous in it's distraction is the sad situation in Haiti which, even though your heart may go out to them, we are not in any shape to foot the bill on their reconstruction. And you know all the other countries will talk, as usual, a good game but will not stand by it.

We will foot most, if not all, of the bill and then, the cry to take in refugees! Some slacker Countrys are already crying out for us to do more. Socialist Countrys like Denmark for example, who after giving 63% income taxes for their cradle to grave "personal" care and maintenance, have nothing they'll be willing to donate to Haiti or anyone else, while Americans are not only giving by way ofFederal relief aka taxes, but also, as usual, giving from their personal discretionary income as well..

The most cunning opposition to Americas battle to restore freedom, will as they, through the White House Chief of Staff, Rahm'bo Imanuel most aptly put it - "Never let a serious crisis go to waste".

The Administration is hammering the banks and villanizing them in hopes of convincing the citizenry (us) to go along with it. Yeah Yeah, I know that the banks almost got away with some harmful derivative creation and sales but are also paying off with interest. Which, by the way, is not going back to pay the debt as promised but is to be put toward the SECOND STIMULOUS.

The real problem that the government doesn't want you to understand is that the government was asleep at the helm and not doing it's job as watchdog which allowed this whole thing to come about.

Look at the Bernie Maddof debacle.
The government supposedly checked him out three times and missed his diabolical deeds.

And don't let our fellow citizens off the hook either!

Fact; Some twisted liberal views on what are constitutional rights as to property ownership created some very questionable programs like the CRA or "Community Reinvestment Act" in partnership with Senator Barney Frank's Fannie Mae Love Connection that "dumbed down the banks" lending practices allowing the financially unqualified to buy homes with short term "adjustable rate loans" that they had no intention of keeping beyond the term needed to "Flip This House" - only, they got caught when they couldn't sell in time, defaulted on the mortgage which became the "subprime TOXIC derivative" sold by the lenders all over the world.

The whole "Flip This House" phenomenon had unqualified people using "No Doc" (no documents of proof) or "liar Loans" which as we all are so aware and are paying so dearly for, in so many ways, right now !

"Democratic House Financial Services Committee Chair promoted GSEs while former spouse, Herb Moses was Fannie Mae executive."

July 3, 1998, Reliable Source column in The Washington Post reported Barney Frank, who is openly gay, had a relationship with Herb Moses, an executive for the now-government controlled Fannie Mae. The column revealed the two had split up at the time but also said Frank was referring to Moses as his “spouse.”

The Obama Administration is trying to demonise, for profit, in the same way they did it to the Tobacco Industry.

They need a new cash cow and the banks are it!

"The tail wagging the dog again"!

You can and should pray for Haiti, but stay out of the cash box because at the rate we're going now, we could end up like Haiti. Right now America is financially strapped and would do better to heal herself first. I know this sounds callous but a bankrupt America is no good to anyone!

Have you forgotten that we're already rebuilding (not my choice) Iraq and Afghanistan.

Besides, it only gives Obama breathing room and a chance to put on the white hat in front of the teleprompter 2 times a day for the next week - going for the vote...

One shot, one kill - economics 101

Economically speaking;

Just how much should be wasted to kill a Muslim Terrorist?

Just one.

One shot, one kill !

This highly trained American sniper, with his 50 caliber rifle, his best friend. His assignment is to protect the 'Green Zone' in Baghdad, Iraq.

Basically his job is to prevent the terrorists from sneaking into the compound.

One day Achmed tried to breach the perimeter and was tagged from 1500 yards out.

Note the vest, packed with explosives!

He came to die that day,

and did !

Off to Allah Land !

Islam is Satans Nursery !

There seems to be a lot of light being shed, at last, on Google's, some say "politically correct stance" on why they haven't listed the query "Islam is" in their search engine you get nothing, a blank.. While, if you query "Christianity is", the very first result is "Christianity is bullshit".

On thursday January 7th 2009, Google put out public releases saying that it's a bug, a glitch of sorts which they are working to correct..But we know don't we, that it's cowardice - pure and simple ! Not the result of software malfunction but moral malfeasance and their so-called bug eradication has produced nothing but more release and it's now Monday the 11th. Is anyone surprised ?

So when I publish this article, "Islam is Satans Nursery" and Google gets it's shit together, a search on Google, "Islam is Satans Nursery", should be right at the top...

If not, maybe the next one will be "Google is BULLSHIT" !

Barack Obama, president without a country

The president without a country
By Pat Boone

"We're no longer a Christian nation." - President Barack Obama, June 2007

" America has been arrogant." -

President Barack Obama

"After 9/11, America didn't always live up to her ideals."-

President Barack Obama

"You might say that America is a Muslim nation."-

President Barack Obama, Egypt 2009

Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of.

In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!"

The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed."

And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he fore swore - never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are.

But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?"

You surely can't be referring to the United States of America , can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president.

You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers":

"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"?

In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian."

Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson 's intent with that statement?

Or, wait a minute. Were your ideas about America 's Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that " America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that " America has been arrogant"?

Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be "considered a Muslim nation"?

Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"?

Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution -and the success of our Revolution and founding -owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers.

Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran ? Even in Egypt ? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"?

It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected. If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" -you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize.

Could it be you are a president without a country?

POOR !

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."

A Homegrown Americans View;

GLENN BECK: I got a letter from a woman in Arizona . She writes an open letter to our nation's leadership:

"I am a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. Instead, we are burdened with Congressional Dukes and Duchesses who think they know better than the citizens they are supposed to represent.

There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now.
You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would feel so horribly disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut-job am I? Well, these briefly are the views and issues for which I seek representation:

One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels.. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution.

P.S., I'm not a racist. This is not to be confused with legal immigration.

Two, the STIMULUS bill. I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you No, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars. I want the circumvention of our constitutional checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution, and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There are many conflicting opinions and it is too soon for this radical legislation. Quit throwing our nation into politically-correct quicksand.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision that will burden me, my children, and grandchildren. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night without even reading it. Slow down! Fix only what is broken -- we have the best health care system in the world -- and test any new program in one or two states first.

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. More is not better! Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real [Constitutional] obligations. Why don't you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes -- how did they pull that one off? Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with any of our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs -- and that is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person! Why do you want me to hate my employers? And what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Every company must sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. (Have you ever ripped off a Band-Aid?) We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk.. Please stop trying to manipulate and appease me with clever wording.. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.
Take a breath. Listen to the people. Slow down and get some input from nonpoliticians and experts on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed-reading our bills into law. I am not an activist.. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent.. I work. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not.
It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is needless urgency and recklessness in all of your recent spending of our tax dollars.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on bringing our concerns to Washington . Our president often knows all the right buzzwords like unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented.. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work, pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone... and we are now looking at you.

You have awakened us, the patriotic freedom spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office.

We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us who will rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this.. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution, and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them.. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you.

If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one.

We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent?

Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming."

California Governors Race

Poll taken Oct 8th in California - shows, in the Republican Governors race - A new Field poll showed Meg Whitman has an impressive business background but, and this is a HUGE but, based on what she thinks of the communist x-con Van Jones who, until recently, was one of OBAMA's 33 CZARS. The EPA GREEN CZAR to be exact! Whitman, leading the Republican field with 22 percent followed by former Rep. Tom Campbell at 20 percent and Poizner at nine percent.

As far as I'm concerned it's a no brainer to eliminate Whitman right off the bat!

Not being from California and looking to Providence for Californians to get it together, admittedly with very selfish motive. I don't want any more Californians migrating to my State. Californians, are like pestilence, they will, if allowed to escape their environment, infect, sicken and bring down that which they come into contact with.
When the destruction, social, moral and economic is total they move on to the next victim.
"Case in point", California it's self ! Look West, ssshhhhhh - can you hear the flushing sound? That's just one part of the socialist experiment in America with trillions of destroyed wealth, productivity, engenuity and common sense going down the toilet. Along with the business's fleeing, naturally, the pests flee as well !

I don't know who, between Cambell or Poizner, California should elect as their Gov of CA. but the self admitted Van Jones admirer, Meg Whitman shouldn't even be considered.
But hey, we're talking about California here !

Election Statistics

Who elected the President?

THIS WILL PISS YOU OFF !

Interesting Statistic
Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St... Paul , Minnesota , points out facts of 2008 Presidential election:

Number of States won by:
Democrats: 19
Republicans: 29

Square miles of land won by:
Democrats: 580,000
Republicans: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by:
Democrats: 127 million
Republicans: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Democrats: 13.2
Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds:
"In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won by Republicans was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare.

Professor Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years."

DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY....

Subject: Da Gubmint and how da Gubmint works

Once upon a time the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of a desert.

Congress said, "Someone may steal from it at night." So they created a night watchman position and hired
a person for the job.

Then Congress said, "How does the watchman do his job without instruction?"

So they created a planning department and hired two people, one person to write the instructions, and one person
to do time studies.

Then Congress said, "How will we know the night watchman is doing the tasks correctly?"
So they created a Quality Control department and hired two people. One to do the studies and one to write the reports.

Then Congress said, "How are these people going to get paid?" So They created the following positions, a time keeper, a payroll office, then hired two people.

Then Congress said, "Who will be accountable for all of these people?"
So they created an administrative section and hired three people, an Administrative Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, and a Legal Secretary.

Then Congress said, "We have had this command in operation for one Year and we are $18,000 over budget, we must cutback overall cost."

So they laid off the night watchman.

NOW slowly, let it sink in.

Does anybody remember the reason given for the establishment of the ...DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY.... during the Carter Administration?

Anybody?

Anything?

No?

Didn't think so!

Bottom line.

We've spent several hundred billion dollars in support of an agency.... the reason for which not one person who reads this
can remember!

Ready??

It was very simple...and at the time, everybody thought it very appropriate.

The Department of Energy was instituted on 8-04-1977. TO LESSEN OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL.

Hey, pretty efficient, huh???

AND NOW IT'S 2009 -- 32 YEARS LATER -- AND THE BUDGET FOR THIS "NECESSARY" DEPARTMENT IS AT $24.2
BILLION A YEAR. THEY HAVE 16,000 FEDERAL EMPLOYEES AND APPROXIMATELY 100,000 CONTRACT EMPLOYEES;
AND LOOK AT THE JOB THEY HAVE DONE!

THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND SAY, "WHAT WAS I THINKING?"

AND, NOW, WE ARE GOING TO TURN THE BANKING SYSTEM, HEALTH CARE, AND THE AUTO INDUSTRY OVER TO
THE SAME GOVERNMENT???

HELLooooo!!

Anybody Home?

Jesse Jackson's Newest Staff Member;

You can't make up stuff like this!

Jesse Jackson's Newest Staff Member

Mel Reynolds

Jesse Jackson has added former Chicago Democrat

Congressman Mel Reynolds to "Rainbow PUSH Coalition's" payroll..

Reynolds was among the 176 criminals pardoned

in President Clinton's last-minute compassion party.

Reynolds received a commutation of his six-and-a-half-year
federal sentence for 15 convictions of wire fraud, bank fraud,

and lies to the Federal Election Commission.

He is more notorious, however, for concurrently serving

five years for sleeping with an underage campaign volunteer.

This is a first in American politics, hard to believe I know: An ex-congressman who had

sex with a subordinate...won clemency from a president who had

sex with a subordinate....then was hired by a clergyman who had

sex with a subordinate !

His new job:

Ready for this??

This was not an accident! Some who've seen this are describing them as "just stupid, clueless" to make such a mistake.

I say it is YOU, who are naive! If you think crossing the heart with the left hand was a "clueless" gesture, maybe you've been sheltered to long.

He swore to you there would be "FUNDAMENTAL" change. You voted, how's all that change working for you now?
