Lowering the dollar is a "run around the end" allowing our export companies to boom for the last few years( reason for low unemployment numbers - 5.5% which has begun to rise a little due to internal problems with subprime/banks).One of the negative symptoms of a low dollar here at home is high fuel costs/commodities - that hurts low scale labor for sure but with Chinas 48% market decline of late it's beginning to hurt them as well.

The coude gras is the many Olympic tourists from the West (oh, did I mention Europe is feeling the pinch as well?)who won't be going to Bejing (charity tickets donation campaigns for the Olypians families have begun) - what a shame, especially after the lions share of expenditures in China of late has been infrastructure and general construction explicitly for the Olympics.

Remember, Japan played this game too!

China, someday, may well be the big dog on the block.

Supreme Court rules Muslim Terrorists Have Constitutional Rights

That's right, your so called High Court (and I mean HIGH on something)ruled that Americas worst enemy and nightmare has the same rights as you even tho they are in a maximum security prison on Cuban soil, Technically, GITMO or Guantanamo Bay is U.S. soil (OK, OK mere technicality).

In an article by By MARK SHERMAN, Associated Press Writer sez (italics)

"WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that foreign terrorism suspects held at Guantanamo Bay may challenge their detention in U.S. civilian courts."

Whether GITMO is or isn't U.S. soil is Beside the point.
The point is that U.S. citizens have U.S. Constitutional Right and that's even debatable these days NOT MUSLIM TERRORIST ISLAMO FASCISTS that would kill you as quick as blinking at you!

So, what does the Government expect us as U.S. Citizens to do where justice is concerned in the future while now knowing that our enemies will soon be walking the streets free to kill us thanks to our own tax dollars mismanaged by the Supreme Court and their confidants the Trial Lawyers Union that payed to free them using the very courts designed to protect us ?
